We were so upset to hear the news of Uncle Russell! Always such a fun and easy going uncle. I have so many fond memories of him growing up and seeing him, Aunt Sarah, and the cousins more "our age" at the farm. Thinking of you all, wishing you hope in the midst of sorrow, comfort in the midst of pain. We will continue to pray for you all.
Love, Kara , Clark, Aleyna, Conrad, Lylah and Winston.

I first met Russ in 2010. I was just starting to learn SAP. He was a great mentor and friend. I will truly miss him as many will. I am so sorry for your loss. I am praying for the family.

I met Russ just this spring after his ride on the Kal-Haven trail. We liked to talk about bikes and he always was riding a different and unique bike each time I bumped into him. We had made plans to ride the trail, but unfortunately, that didn't happen. He seemed like such a nice guy. I hope fond memories will bring peace for his friends and family.

Russell became an uncle when he was just a few days old. His siblings' children were close to his age, so he was like a favorite cousin to us and when we had meals at grandpa and grandma's house, he sat with us at the kids' table. We always had fun with him and wanted to spend time with him. In high school , Russell frequently spent weekends with us and we loved it!

One of my favorite times with Russell was the year we attended college together. He was a senior and I was a freshman. My friends had fun calling him "Uncle Russell." I met Sara, who was 17 years old, on their first date. I called her "Aunt Sara" for the rest of the year! After the school year ended, Russell and Sara became a "Mr. & Mrs" and she officially became an aunt.

In later years, we shared our joys and sorrows. I thought we had alot more time to make memories. I was not ready to say good-bye to Russell and will definitely miss him. My heart goes out to Sara, the boys & their families. May the Lord be with you in the days ahead and may you feel his overwhelmingly love.

I hope your 3 boys and family console you during this
tough time.
Never met Russell, but pretty sure he was a wonderful husband and
father to your boys.
Could not find your phone number or I would have called.

A wonderful person I was lucky to call my Father-in-Law. He was always there with a helping hand, a quirky comment, and to support his grand kids. The world will have a lot less joy without him in it.
