I worked in the dining room at Maple woods and had the pleasure of interacting with Sandy on a daily basis. She always had the same question for me. She would always ask; what's new? Anything exciting? To which I always had to answer no, I lead a very boring life. I work and babysit my granddaughter. Sandy was a sweetheart...

I met Sandy when I married my husband Joe. She and her Husband were a big presence in the Gilcrest family.  Sandy brought a lot of joy and fun to everyone.  She was quick to smile and made our family feel special. May she Rest In Peace.

I taught at West Ottawa Middle School and Sandy was a secretary. She was so much fun to be around that I always made a point of going through the office. Even on days when I was down, she was the one to brighten my day. She was awesome!!!
