Stella Heavilin, age 86 of Zeeland, passed away Friday, March 16, 2018 at home surrounded by family in Zeeland.

Stella was a member of St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and volunteered in the Prayer Garden. She retired from Herman Miller. Stella was a certified Master Gardener and loved to walk her dog any time she could, often times on a 3 mile walk.

She is survived by her children, Kathleen (Barton) De Kraker, Scott Heavilin, Christine Hillsburg, and Patrick Heavilin; 2 grandchildren, Catt Hillsburg and Rowan Vander Zanden; 2 sisters-in-law; many extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be 11:00am Friday, March 23, 2018 at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church, 171 W. 13th St.

Visitation will be Friday from 10am until the time of the service at St. Francis.
