Thomas Rewa, age 61 of Holland, passed away on October 4, 2019, at home after a brief illness.

Tom was an exceptional man, beloved by all that knew him. His smile could light up the room and his quick wit often produced jokes that would make anyone laugh. He loved his family and friends dearly, always putting others before himself. Tom worked at Thermotron for 43 years, and became a talented welder and fabricator. A true handyman, he used his gifts and wisdom to serve others. It gave him great joy to help those close to him, whatever the project may have been. One of his many projects was building the house he raised his family in, a house that he would live in for the rest of his life.

Tom could often be found working outdoors and visiting with friends in his pole barn. His hobbies included, riding quads with buddies, camping with family, fishing with his wife and grandchildren, taking hunting trips with his son, and hosting cookouts and bonfires in the backyard. As a cook, he loved grilling and smoking meats to share with those he loved. In recent years, he and his wife Cathy took up motorcycling, riding with a group of close friends, they went on many adventures together.

He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and beloved friend. Words can not describe how deeply he will be missed.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Arlene.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Cathy

Cathy, Kevin and family and Sara and Andy, Dan and I are so sorry for the loss of Tom. And want to convey our deepest and most sincere sympathy. Although we didn't have the chance to know Tom and the Rewa family as much as others did we are so grateful and feel so very Blessed that we have gotten to know him over the last 13 years. And Dan is so proud to have been able to call him his brother. What we have witnessed in the past 13 years is that Tom was a very loving husband to Cathy and father to Kevin,Rachel. And to his grandchildren Evelyn,Callie and Jeremy. And he was a beloved brother to Rosemary, Marilyn,Lawrence and Dan. Tom was a very patient man, a great friend to many and a hard worker. And we witnessed this at his visitation. So many people loved him. And will miss him dearly.Tom was a great asset to his job. And many showed up to pay their respects to an incredible man. Tom had such a sense of humor. And you could never get anything over on him because he would always come back with a response that was witty and quick. He never had to think about it before replying. Dan and I have so enjoyed our camping trips and the Rewa Ribfest that he would host for his family and friends. And the many Christmas Parties we were invited to and Thanksgiving dinners with all of the family brothers, sisters and their families. Tom always prepared a luscious turkey. We will always and forever have great memories of Tom and the entire Rewa family and their families. He may not be in our presence but he will always be in our hearts and thoughts at every get together. Tom will forever be Loved and Remembered. Love you brother Dan and Sandy Fleming
