I’m saddened to read of the tragic loss of Victor. He was a student in my third grade class at Woodside Elementary. My memories of Victor include: curious, kind, sensitive to the feelings of others, thoughtful, hard working, gentle, good friend, loved family. Victor was a joy to have in class. My sincere condolences go out to his family and loved ones. May God bless you all.

Cristina, Thank you for talking with me today at the market. I am so sorry for the loss of your son. From your description, Victor was a kind, amazing young man with a great smile! It was also apparent that you are an amazing mother who did a fantastic job raising your son. I was so touched when you said "you will live your life in honor of your son" and you will not let this horrible tragedy bring you down. I can think of no better way to make your son proud! My heart goes out to you and your family. Please take care, I will be thinking of you all.

I remember him being in my band. He was always so helpful and polite. Such a kind soul. I can't imagine the pain his family is going thru right now! Gone too soon. 

I worked with Victor at Magna. He was such a great young man. He was a hard worker, did above and beyond what was ask of him. He was always very respectful and funny. He will be greatly missed at work I can't imagine the pain and emptiness his family is experiencing. Prayers for healing.

I have many memories with you especially from school, but my favorite was after I had ran away from home, I was running home from work and it was dark out, I bumped into you and go scared thinking you are a stranger following me, but we walked around together till I made it home and did that for a continuous amount of days, often walking to Walgreens, always ending up talking about the sun set. You always talked about your dreams and motivations, never failed to tell me I was beautiful eaither. A true friend. Thank you for always looking after me in the dark victor. Thank you for being my friend 

He was always smiling, making others laugh, cracking jokes. May you find peace in your afterlife <3

I will never forget the sweet little boy who used to come to my house to play with my son, Riley.  Even as Victor grew, he wasn't ashamed to give me a great big hug when he saw me at school.  Victor will always be remembered in love. Keeping you all in our hearts, thoughts, and prayers.  Love you, Bonnie Schuitema
