

Vivian was born February 25, 1928 in Zeeland to Lambert and Margaret Gebben. She was a lifelong resident of the Holland area and a member of Central Park Church for many years. Vivian and her husband Junior owned and operated the former Windmill Gas Station on 32nd street for many years. She was known as “the Penny Lady” for handing out penny candy’s at Wiersma Grocery Store where she retired after 35 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband Junior Terpstra in 1966; and a son Rick Terpstra in 2009; and sister Marian “Mary” Maat in 2016.
Vivan is survived by her daughter Sally Terpstra (Chuck Montgomery); 2 Grandchildren Kara (Joel Berryhill) Welsh, and Jason (CJ Verhey) Terpstra; 3 Great grandchildren, Abigail Terpstra, Aubree Berryhill, and Kaden Berryhill; sister Dorothy Miedema; many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
A funeral service to celebrate Vivian’s life will be 11:00am Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at Central Park Church, 614 Myrtle Ave., Holland. Officiating will be Rev. Kevin Kleinheksel.
Burial will be in Graafschap Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8:00pm Tuesday, May 9 at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James St., Holland.
