Wayne was a graduate of Hudsonville High School and retired from “Life Savers” candy in Holland. Wayne enjoyed the simple pleasures of riding along on an afternoon adventure or sitting with friends and neighbors at a campfire.
Wayne is survived by: his brother, Brian (Terease) Engelsman; sister-in-law, Torrie (Craig) Cotts; nephew, Colt (Kellie) Engelsman; sisters, Dolores Pater, Nancy Rodenhiser, Linda (Bill) Raterink, and Sandy (Arland) Boerson. Wayne also leaves behind other nieces and nephews and a special grand niece and grand nephew, Atheana and Wyatt Engelsman.
Wayne was preceded in death by: his parents and 2 brother-in-laws, Art Pater and Jim Rodenhiser.
A graveside service will be held on Friday May 31, 2024 at 11am at Forest Grove Cemetery.
