Wilma Fay Arens

Wilma Fay Arens, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, went to be with Jesus on October 15, 2026, just two days shy of her 85th birthday. Though her passing leaves a tender ache in the hearts of those who loved her, her life remains a beautiful reminder of the lasting power of family, cherished memories, and a love that never fades.

Wilma grew up in Mozart, Arkansas, where some of her most treasured memories were made. She always enjoyed sharing stories of her childhood in the beautiful Ozarks, keeping those special moments alive through the memories she recounted and the joy they brought her. Her roots in Arkansas held a special place in her heart, and the stories of her younger years became a precious part of the legacy she leaves behind.

Wilma was the daughter of John Quincy Ramsey and Viona Edith Sutterfield. Family was an important part of her life, and she was blessed to share 54 years of marriage with her husband, Lyle Arens. Together, they built a life and a family filled with years of memories, love, and shared experiences. Lyle preceded her in death in 2025, and now they are reunited.

Wilma’s greatest earthly legacy lives on through her children and the generations that followed. She is survived by her loving children: Rick (Brenda) Arens, Tamela Annette, Jerry (Amber Door) Arens, Terry Arens, and Christopher (Jennifer) Arens. She was a proud grandmother to eight grandchildren: Tiffany (Andrew) Brown, Vanessa (Robert) Olivarez, Alex Arens, Madison Arens, Cameron Carlson, Dusty Carlson, Kellie Arens, and Jacob Arens. Her love and legacy continue through her three great-grandchildren: Romeo Olivarez, Judah Brown, and Rio Olivarez, who represent the beautiful continuation of the family she held dear.

She is also survived by her special niece, Dawn (Gary) Alsip, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.

Though Wilma’s earthly journey has come to an end, the love she shared and the memories she created will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her. Her stories of the Ozarks, the memories of her family, and the moments spent together will remain treasured reminders of a life that mattered deeply. While she will be missed more than words can express, there is comfort in knowing that her life has not ended in sorrow, but her soul is now at peace in the arms of Jesus.

A memorial service to celebrate Wilma’s life will be held for the family.

May those who mourn her find comfort in their treasured memories, strength in one another, and peace in the promise of eternal life. Wilma will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
