Mama, 
These past few days have been the hardest days of my 27 years here on earth thus far. I am beyond grateful to the Lord, our Father, for taking you Home so you are no longer suffering and in pain. My shoulders feel lighter today, but at the same time, I feel empty inside. Our past three years have been filled with appointments, traveling back and forth to Cleveland, tests, therapy, hospital stays, and etc. Now we have no more appointments; no more therapy; no more weekly blood draws for Coumadin, and etc.  You are Free now. Not in pain. Not suffering. There has not been a moment that has gone by where I do not think of you. I am numb from my head to my toes. It is a weird feeling mama, but this is all a part of the process. I know you are watching over me and always will. You have always been my angel, now you are my heavenly angel. I just want you to know that you are my hero. You fought this ugly disease they call “cancer” tooth and nail and gave it one hell of a run for its money. I am so proud of you! You never broke your promise to us! You never gave up! NEVER! You are truly our miracle and an Angel. I thank God every second of every day for him blessing me with the world's greatest mother! Grandpa Bob, Grandma Willie, Grandpa Dan, and Uncle Rick will show you around up there! “We will not say goodbye for we will meet again someday!” I love you with all my heart mama! Welcome home! Love you always and forever!

There is a another huge hole in our family & in my heart. I already miss my little sister. But I feel I finally have my little brother, Danny. He & Mindy & lil Dan took such great, patient, loving care of Susie, allowing her final wish to stay at home. They opened their home all hours so family & friends could spend precious time with her. What a wonderful FIGHTER your mom/wife was. She is the epitome of an angel, the way that she galliantly faught her battle was amazing. She will be with you always.
