Twila McLane

Twila McLane, age 88, of Holland passed away on January 27, 2015 at Ebeid Hospice Residence, Sylvania. Twila was born in Fulton Co., Ohio on November 17, 1926 to Abraham & Annabelle (Hiser) Nye. She married the love of her life, Charles McLane in Toledo on February 7, 1948 and he preceded her in death on October 10, 1991. Twila worked for Toledo Edison as a general accountant retiring from that position in the 1970’s. She also belonged to the Edison Employees Association where she was a Gold Member. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Surviving are her sons, Richard (Kathy) McLane; Charles “Skip” (Judy) McLane; grandchildren, Amy Sue & Steve; Matthew & Heather; Monica & Clinton; Pat & Lisa; Shannon & Todd; 11 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson and sister, Treva (Warden) Kahle. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Elizabeth Sayen; brothers, Dave, Barney and Emerson and sisters, Mary, Winnie, Ellen, Thelma and Rachiel.

Friends will be received in the Neville Funeral Home, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland (419-865-8879) from 2-8 pm Monday, February 2, 2015 where the Rosary will be recited at 7 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 6145 Hill Ave., Toledo beginning at 10 am. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park, Perrysburg. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Promedica Hospice Ebeid Residence.
