Absalon was born in Guayquil, Ecuador to Ester and Reynaldo Vanegas on 11/17/1935. He married Maria Luzmila Tola on November 7th, 1959 in Guayquil, Ecuador. He worked as a service elevator operator for Sheridan Hotels for 26 years.
Absalon is survived by his loving wife Maria Luzmila, 3 children, George, Dolores, Pablo, and loving Daughter in-lawAnastasia and Ruthie. He had 7 grandchildren, Anthony, Gabriel, Jessica, Peter, Rebecca, Natalie and Alexander. He had one Great Grandchild, Liliana.

He was a dedicated and beloved husband and father who had a beautiful way with handling life’s problems. He believed you could find a solution to any problem by coming together around the dinner table, and having a nice meal. Papi loved to eat….love you Papi…thank you for taking care of us. Until we meet again, you will be forever in our thought and prayers…we will miss you so much.
