Born in Nashville, Tennessee on June 12, 1971, son of David and Lynda (Clouse) Metlika. Raised and educated in Nashville, he then moved to Miami in 1988 at the age of 17.
Adam was co-owner of Propower Parts, Inc. in Fort Lauderdale. He enjoyed football and was an avid Tennessee Titans fan.
In addition to his loving parents, David and Lynda Metlika, Adam is survived by his beloved wife of 15 years, Kristen L. (Burkhardt) Metlika, devoted brother, Dale Metlika, nephews, Dylan and Joseph Metlika, Michael Burkhardt, niece Kaitlyn Burkhardt, step-brother, Josh Misler and step-sister, Jaime Richards, mother and father in law, Dick and Linda Burkhardt, brother in law, Scott Burkhardt and several aunts and uncles.
A Celebration of Adam's Life will be held on Monday, September 5th at 3:00 P.M. at Fred Hunter's University Drive Home, 2401 South University Drive in Davie. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 2:00 P.M. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
