He was Known by most as "Gary" and was the son of the late Roshan and Sobra Ali, brother of Haleema, Zabida, Ramzan, Ameer, Hazra, Jim and the late Rick and Azweem, the beloved husband of Bibi Ali, the father of Warren and Samantha, father in law of Selena, and grandfather of Justin and Gavin. He was also a wonderful uncle, cousin, and friend.
Gary migrated to Canada in 1972 and then to Florida in 1988 to open his own furniture manufacturing business and showroom.
Gary's passion was taking part in cricket sporting events, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren, Justin and Gavin.
The Viewing and Memorial Service is on Monday, February 4, 2019 at Fred Hunter Funeral Home (6301 Taft Street, Hollywood, FL 33024). Viewing and Service will be from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. A funeral procession will follow thereafter to the burial grounds (3001 N 72nd Ave, Hollywood, FL 33024). After the burial service, food will be served at Tropics Restaurant (7100 Hollywood Blvd, Hollywood, FL 33024). A reading will commence at 7 pm at the Ali residence (14501 SW 48th Court, Miramar, FL 33027).
