

Born in Queens, New York, on May 13, 1925, Agnes was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Polankowski) Zvierko. Raised and educated in NYC, Agnes worked as a seamstress. On April 27, 1947, in St. Stanislaus Church in Brooklyn, Agnes was united in marriage to Stanley Labashinsky. Agnes and Stanley were a well matched couple. Together they enjoyed many commonalities and were known to be the first ones on the dance floor doing the polka.
Agnes outgoing and friendly personality suited her in all her day to day activities whether it was her involvement in the Senior's Club in her community or in her parish at St. Maurice, where she participated in many parish events especially the Women of the Stable . A proud and distinguished women Agnes was always elegantly dressed where ever she went.
Agnes is survived by her son; Robert with whom she resided; her many nieces and nephews, especially Claire Bonsignore, Douglas Zvierko, Gregory Zvierko and Winifred Kennedy, Maryann Majeski, Linda Rodriguez, Ricky Zvierko, Raymond Sawicki, Alex Tanskey and Dotsey Challice, great nieces, great nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her siblings, Sophie, Mary, Lucy, Phil, John, Benjamin, Stella, Anna, Violet and Helen.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 from 2:00 - 4:00 at the Fred Hunter Funeral Home, 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood. Agnes funeral service will commence on Thursday morning at 11:00 at the funeral home with the Rev. Roger Holoubek. Entombment will follow in Hollywood Memorial Gardens.
