Agnes Rose Schnierer

Born November 9, 1920 to Joseph and Anna Wenzel of Matawan, NJ, predeceased by he beloved husband Joseph Schnierer and her siblings, Joseph, Mabel, Raymond, Ernest and Billy, with one surviving sister, Anna. Agnes is survived by her three children; Michael Schnierer (Joan), Cheryl Bartanowitz (Stephen) and Mary (Mimi) Southard (Mark Brock). Agnes also is survived by her many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren; Sarah Schnierer Hogg (Steve) & their children Sophie & Samuel; Katy Schnierer McMillan (Andrew) and their children Annabel, Suzanne & Edward; Frank Bartanowitz (Jennifer) and their children Jessica, Maggie & Cadence; Amy Bartanowitz Winburn (Troy) and their daughter Emily. Agnes was a reading specialist who spent over 35 years teaching in the Broward County School System. Agnes taught thousands of children to read in her teaching profession. Agnes took pride in the accomplishments of her family and will be missed by all who knew her. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 8, 2013 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm at Fred Hunter's Downtown Ft. Lauderdale Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 12 Noon at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery in North Lauderdale.
