

Albert (Al) Ronald Carlson Jr., age 55, crossed over into the heavenly realm on March 15th , 2020. Al deeply touched the lives of everyone who knew him with his magnetic smile and his gift to win you over with his light-hearted love for life.
He grew up in Pembroke Pines, Fl where he graduated McArthur High School in 1983. You could always find him on a Pembroke Pines optimist field, enjoying his passion for soccer, baseball and football. His life has been richly blessed with life-long friendships of profound love that have championed the test of time. He lived out-loud as an extraordinary presence that will be deeply missed by all.
Al built a generous career in construction as a highly skilled equipment operator. His creative passion led him to succeed in both superintendent and management roles. He celebrated the goodness of all that life has to offer by engaging in the many pleasures that brought him joy: hooking up with friends at the beach, cheering on the Dolphin’s game (as he was a faithful fan), fishing in the open waters, surfing, boating, sports, motorcycling, snow-boarding and prospering in the endless moments of celebration and love with his treasured family.
His love for family is the heartbeat of his life. He is survived by his Mother and Step-father Joyce and Jack Althoff, Father and Step-mother Ron and Sandra Carlson, Wife Jenni Carlson, Step-children Alexis and Adam, Mother of his children Elizabeth (Beth) Lee, Daughter Brittany Carlson and Son Kyle Carlson, Grandchildren Leland, Kylee, and Declan, Sisters and respective spouses Lynne Pintado and Juan, Debbi Carlson, Dawne and Jose Garcia, Ronnette Brown, Nieces Christina, Cheryl-Lyn, Harley, and Sarah and Nephews Michael, Josh and Christian.
A gathering of love and celebration of his life will be held at a time in the future.
