Alice Marie Price, 66, resident of Plantation, FL, passed away June 24, 2013. She was born and raised in Clinton, MS and also resided in Georgia and Texas. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Alexis and Bryan Kitchman, her brothers and sisters; Joe H. Price, Jr., Lulie P. Harvey, Lovisa (Levi) A. Stephenson, Edwin P. Price, and her grandchildren; Aaron Matthew Kitchman, and Kaitlyn Rebekah Kitchman. Alice was preceded in death by her parents; Joe and Alice Price and her husband; John H. Rivera. She graduated with her Bachelor's Degree in English from the University of Southern Mississippi and worked as a court reporter for much of her life. She enjoyed traveling for the last 10 years and most described her as a gentle, loving and kind person.
On the morning of July 20, 2013 a private service will be held at sea for immediate family by invitation only in South Florida.
In the afternoon on July 20, 2013 from 4:00 pm - 8:00pm an open memorial reception will be held at her daughter's house, Alexis Kitchman, for those that would like to pay their respects to her and her family.
