Passed at Memorial Hospital South
In Hollywood, Florida, on Thursday,
January 15, 2015.
Born August 9, 1934 in Miami Florida. Along with his Father and siblings, all natives of South Florida, a rarity today.
A Navy Veteran, as well as plasterer for the bulk of his working life.
Along with his dear wife of 57 years, Joan Sheridan were co-members of the once esteemed Hollywood West Optimist club, where he donated his humanitarian time towards the benefit of the local youths for many years, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Concurrently, befriended many.
Captivated by hunting with his beloved brothers out in Big Cypress Everglades in particular. His perpetual sense of humor, connoisseur's appreciation of history, his intelligence far exceeded the average man. Admired by many.
His wealth of knowledge never left him with nothing to do.
Constantly working in his workshop for himself, or as usual, mending something for someone else, which was typical. He could build just about anything from scratch, in which he often did. He was ALWAYS there to give a lending hand for a family member or friend, for where there were many. Anyone and everyone who met him liked him.
Loved to read, a loyal fan of the Miami Hurricanes football, and the Miami Dolphins.
Survived by his endearing wife Joan Sheridan, his brothers, Johnny Sheridan, Van Sheridan, his five children: Kent Sheridan, Kathy Dunlap, Karen Dixon, Kirk Sheridan and Kim Stephens.
A Family Man!
