Amy would like to share one last lesson with us all: how to live our lives with...
Passion, bravery in the face of the unknown, unending perseverance, optimism in the face of daunting odds, and above all faith.
Her smile, her infectious laugh, the little sparkle in her eye that made you wonder what she was thinking, her tremendous intelligence and huge capacity for love were hallmarks of her personality and her beautiful soul.
Amy was always concerned about helping others realize their greatest potential. She will probably try to have life's regulations revised from a heavenly viewpoint.
No one knew more about regs than Amy!
Amy will always be remembered as an amazing mother, daughter, sister, friend, teacher and counselor
Her light and spirit warmed and comforted everyone that knew her.
Amy has joined her father, Elmer, and brother, Michael, in Heaven.
She leaves her beloved son, Matthew, her heartbroken mother, Beverly, her best friend and sister, Lisa, her younger brother, Ted, and a host of other extended family members who loved her so much.
Amy was proud of her accomplishments in life, the greatest being her son. She was humble in her successes in her professional career. She was Vice Chair of MERPAC, a special advisory committee to the Department of Homeland Security, Vice President of the Maritime Education Standards Council, a member of the board of education at Bethany Christian School and Academic Principal of Maritime Professional Training.
She loved God, her family, the maritime industry, turtles, peacocks, hearts, rainbows, shoes, purses, sparkling bling--AND all of you.
