Andrew Carr was born in Miami, FL on October 15, 1957. He attended Miami Norland Senior High School. He graduated from Florida Atlantic University. He worked as a teacher for Miami Central Senior High School for 30 years.
He was involved in the United Teachers of Dade union for 30 years. He was also involved with the South Florida Wildlife Center for 10 years.
Andrew is preceded in death by his mother, Lorraine Carr.
He is survived by fiancée and longtime companion, Cynthia Osirus.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Fred Hunter Funeral Home, 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood, FL 33024 with celebrant Kevin McGee officiating.
Arrangements are by Fred Hunter Funeral Home.
