Angelo S. DiMauro of Dania Beach passed away at his home on May 31st 2016 at the age of 91. He is survived by his beloved wife Eleanor, his sons Robert (Carol), William (Marge Sullivan), daughter Angela McAlpin (Richard) and grandchildren Jamie and Andrew DiMauro and Kristin and Christopher McAlpin. Angelo was a veteran of World War II and fought in the Battle of Normandy at Omaha Beach as well as the Battle of the Bulge. After the war, he married Eleanor Scirpo in 1948 and moved from Connecticut to S. Fla. in 1951 where he worked as a carpenter and general contractor until he semi-retired at age 70. Always willing to lend a helping hand to family and friends, he will long be remembered for his quick wit and great sense of humor. Contributions in his name can be made to St. Judes Children Hospital or Vitas Healthcare. Funeral arrangements will be held at Fred Hunters.
