Ann Laffey, 88, of Hollywood, Florida passed away May 13, 2018. Ann was born on May 13, 1930, the youngest of six children, and raised in Mount Vernon, NY. Ann has been a resident of South Florida for the past 61 years. She was a member of the Catholic faith. Ann is a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be forever remembered by her husband of 61 years, Thomas E. Laffey Sr., her children and their spouses; Thomas Laffey Jr. (Rhonda), Richard Laffey (Alma), Patty Barfield (Brad) and Theresa Dow (Don), her grandchildren; Bradley, Chad (Britanie), John, Kyle, Rebecca, Bridget and Pamela. Ann is also survived by her numerous nieces and nephews. She leaves behind her cherished neighborhood family and their friendships of 40+ years. Ann was preceded in death by her parents; Peter and Frances Marrone, her brothers and sisters, and her daughter Carol Ann Laffey.
