Anthony M. Colabella, of Davie, FL. was born May 15, 1981 and died suddenly on October 2, 2009. As a boy and young man Anthony was a Boy Scout with Honor Troop #182, where he made the distinguished honor of Eagle Scout at age 13. He then became one of the youngest assistant leaders at age 14. Anthony was a 2000 graduate of Boyd Anderson where he was a member of the cross country champions and a member of the track and field team. In 2004 he graduated from the University of North Florida with a degree in journalism. He worked at WSVN-7, Miami as a news editor for three years before moving to CBS12 in Palm Beach as a photo journalist. Anthony is survived by his loving parents Daniel and Debra Colabella, his loving brother, Thomas F. Colabella; maternal grandmother, Cookie Walters; paternal grandmother, Mary Colabella; Uncle Scott (Pam) Conover; Aunts, Laurie Moniz and Donna (Alex) Vergara and many more cousins and aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Russell Walters and paternal grandfather, Luke Colabella.
