Anu was born in New Delhi on March 4th, 1962. She graduated from St. Mary's School in Pune, India and continued on to attend Newbury College in Boston, MA.
Anu was married to Prashant for almost 40 years. Anu met Prashant in high school, and they have been in love since the summer of 1979.
Anu and Prashant started a family business together in 1989 that continues to thrive. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, while pursuing many philanthropic endeavors.
Anu is survived by her mother Uma Anand, aunt Meena Sethi, husband Prashant Nagar, son Samir Nagar and his wife Lavina Jagtiani, daughter Karishma Bala and her husband Adithya Bala, granddaughter Serena Bala, niece Ankita Mehra and her husband Rohan Kalra, brother Vinit Sethi and his wife Aparna Sethi, brother Amit Sethi and his wife Aarti Sethi, other family and friends, and her beloved dog Chloe Nagar.
