Arlene Arzillo, age 71, of Davie, Florida, went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior in the early morning hours of the 6th of February 2018 with her daughter, Nancy Arzillo-Harrison, by her side.
Arlene was born in Brooklyn, New York on February 5, 1947, daughter of Howard and Bernadette Freeman, and eventually became sister to Robert Freeman.
Arlene was a talented and beautiful ballerina for the majority of her life. Her true calling was a loving and devoted mother, wife and aunt to her family. One of the ways she showed her love to her family was by cooking homemade food, such as her sauce, American Chopsuay, and rouladen. Arlene spent many vacations with her family visiting New York City, Las Vegas, and the Bahamas. In her later years, Arlene enjoyed going to dinner at the Blue Plate restaurant and playing the Diamond Lotto at the Hard Rock Casino. You never saw Arlene without her famous (or infamous) coffee. She gave everything she had to her husband, children, grandchildren, and greatgrandchildren, that's what gave her happiness in life. Arlene was a gracious hostess, she loved having guests and prided herself in her spotless home. She never wanted anyone to feel uncomfortable in her home. Arlene was one in a million, and unmatched in her love, beauty, and tough-as-nails personality.
She is preceded in death by the love of her life, husband of 47 years, Salvatore Alfonso Arzillo Jr.
She is survived by her daughters, Nancy Arzillo-Harrison, and Christina Arzillo Shideler, and her son, Salvatore Robert Arzillo III, and nine grandchildren, three greatgrandchildren, and one grandson on the way.
