Betty Blackmon (Messer) passed away September 16 2016 at 12:15 pm at Seasons Hospice. Betty enjoyed her rewarding carreer at South Florida Wildlife Center for nearly two decades before being diagnosed with cancer in November of 2015. Betty was the oldest daughter of Raymond Messer and Betty Sumner and is survived by her siblings: Raymond, Frank, Georgia, Edward and Martha; her beloved spouse Donald Hannigan and too many friends to count. Betty made a difference in the world and will be greatly missed.
