

Boyd H. Anderson, Jr., 90, went to heaven to spend eternity with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 1, 2015. Boyd was born October 25, 1925 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. After graduating from Fort Lauderdale High School, he enlisted in the United States Navy and was sent to officer's training at the Georgia Institute of Technology. There he earned his Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. He then went to law school at the University of Florida and earned his Juris Doctor. He began his law practice upon graduation in 1949. He practiced law primarily in Estates and Trusts for over forty years. He was a member of Coral Ridge Presbyterian for over thirty-five years. He served as an elder and Sunday School teacher for many years.
His wife, Nancy, preceded him in death in 1974. He is survived by his five children and eleven grandchildren--son, Scott Anderson, daughter-in-law, Cindy (of Fort Lauderdale, FL), and grandsons, Daniel and David Anderson; daughter, Susan Hess, son-in-law, Ted (of Fort Lauderdale, FL) and grandchildren, Amy, Teddy, Nancy, and Christy Hess; daughter, Kay Maine, son-in-law, Rod (of Palm City, FL), and grandchildren , Roddie Maine, Jenny Dudley and her husband Austin; son, Douglas Anderson, daughter-in-law, Stephanie(of Titusville, FL); and daughter, Connie Bankson, son-in-law, Paul (of Kathleen, GA) and grandsons, Andrew, Stephen and Matthew.
His dedication to family, his integrity, his love of learning and his quick wit were only a few of his many wonderful qualities. His greatest legacy to us is found in his personal dedication to the Lord Jesus Christ. He loved to study the Bible and tirelessly taught us the importance of applying its truth to our daily lives. His memory will always be cherished.
