Stewart, Brian Charles, 48, a resident of Wilton Manors for over 20 years, passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Catholic Hospice at Holy Cross Hospital, Ft. Lauderdale. Brian was born July 15, 1967 in Ottumwa, Iowa to Dale and Phyllis Jean (Zuke) Phillips. An Alumnus of Nova Southeastern University and Texas A&M University.
He is survived by his brother Gary W. (Tina) Stewart of West Branch, Iowa; sisters Erica J. Stewart (Andy) Nuezil of Hills, Iowa, Dr. Stacia Phillips (Jake) Ormsby of Iowa City and Jessica Phillips (Steve) Wallace of Mt. Vernon, Iowa; grandparents Charles W. (Bill) and Florence T. Phillips of Iowa City, Iowa; several nieces and nephews and beloved friends Joe Robert Flores and Joe Kilpatrick. He is preceded in death by his step-father William Warren Stewart and mother Phyllis Jean Stewart.
Inurnment will take place at a later date in Iowa.
