Bruce- I will never be able to THANK YOU for all of the love and support that you gave me while going through Joe's cancer treatments for lymphoma. Your hugs, smile and always positive demeanor gave me such confidence that I know now that together we can fight anything. You touched the lives of so many people and made a difference in our lives in such an enormous way! You will ALWAYS be in our thoughts and prayers and I will NEVER forget everything for did for me, my family, the Miramar Police Department and everyone that knew you. I had the chance to meet your beautiful family and Barbara, Tricia and Charles, Rob, Becky and your georgous grandson will FOREVER be a part of our family. I love and miss you and your friendship very much but as strong as you always were, I am so very glad that you are no longer suffering with cancer. GOD BLESS YOU BRUCE! Our hearts are truly saddened by Bruce's death; and we feel a great sense of loss. Bruce was more than just a wonderful person, he was a treasured friend, a neighbor for more than 20 years and a confidant. He was always kind and considerate and had a great sense of humor. Even during his long illness, he always managed to make you smile. His passing will not only leave a void in our lives, but in the hearts of all those who knew him.  How can we possibly express our sorrow and sadness at the death of Bruce? He characterized one who was able to see the good in everyone. His merry ways, joyous laughter that prompted a steady grin, and sharp wit will forever be a part of our memories. We want the remaining family to know how deeply we feel toward them in this very difficult time of grief. We know you will miss him terribly, and so will we and many others who had the good fortune of knowing him.   Good friends are like angels set upon this earth to guide us through thick and thin. Bruce was an inspiration to his many friends at Gildaâ€šÃ„Ã´s Club and especially his brothers in the Menâ€šÃ„Ã´s Club. His unfailing humor and optimism set a positive example on how to deal with life and with cancer. Over the years he shared his love for his family and stories of his many travels with his loving wife Barbara and friends as well as his battles with his treatment, cancer and the insurance companies.He exemplified the true esprit de corps of a Marine, Semper Fi, â€šÃ„ÃºAlways Faithful.â€šÃ„Ã¹ Always faithful to his friends, their concerns were his concerns. His Patient/Partner emails candidly and with grace shared his declining condition. Yet, his spirit and humor never failed him. I will miss Bruce and the special moments and great times we shared at Gildaâ€šÃ„Ã´s Club Menâ€šÃ„Ã´s Club and other Gildaâ€šÃ„Ã´s functions. Bruce will be missed by his many Menâ€šÃ„Ã´s Club brothers. Bruce taught us all a great deal about how to live and to celebrate life.
