Candace Rechtmann, 29, tragically died this January 25th, 2023, in her home in Houston, TX. Her father Howard, mother Shelly, , brother David and uncle Mark, are broken by her loss. Her friends and coworkers, too, mourn the loss of a kind soul that sought excellence in everything she did. She had a bright future and a happy life cut far too short.
She loved her work as an attorney and counselor at law, protecting clients in a variety of civil rights matters. She was a member of the Texas Bar, Florida Bar, and 5th Circuit Court of Appeals Bar. She loved art, plant care, cartoons, and most of all, her two cats, which her family will take care of in her stead.
The funeral will be held as a private ceremony in her home town of Davie, FL, with her family, friends and coworkers present to honor her memory.
