

He was born April 19, 1930, in Guayaquil, Ecuador, moved to New York City in the mid 1950's. Carlos met Margarita Marin in New York and they were married November 15, 1958. They spent over 59 years together, devoted to each other, their two children, grandchild, and great grandchild.
His career in banking started on Wall Street at Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company (aka Manny Hanny), worked his way up within the organization and ultimately became well respected within the international banking community. In 1979, he relocated to South Florida and helped establish an Edge Act bank in Miami for Manufacturers Hanover (now JPMorgan Chase due to mergers and acquisitions).
Surviving are his wife Margarita; sister Consuelo; son Carlos (wife, Laurie) and daughter Carol (wife, Lucia); grandson, Jonathan; great granddaughter, Lily. A sister, Azucena is deceased.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, March 25, 2018 from 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Fred Hunter's University Drive Home. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, March 26, 2018 with burial to follow at Hollywood Memorial Gardens East.
