Carol was a strong and independent woman who had a tough "guy" exterior. Those who knew her could tell you under that hard shell was a loving and caring daughter, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, mother-in-law, and friend.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Lorie Sinclair Vaillancourt, her mother and stepfather Alma and Arthur McAleavey, and her brother Tom Lewis.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her partner Pam Gallagher, her daughter Lisa Lopez, her son Dennis Vaillancourt and his wife Lori, her 3 grandchildren Alyssa Sanabria and her husband Alex, Wayne Sinclair Jr. and Caleb Sinclair, her great grandchild Alani Sanabria, her brother Jerry Lewis and his wife Tracy, her son in law Wayne Sinclair and her cousins, niece and nephew.
In honoring Carol's wishes, a private invite-only memorial service will be held.

2401 S University Dr, Davie, FL 33324 on Sunday, March 13th.
Immediately following the service will be a private celebration of a well-lived life at the family's home.
