Carol Louise Richards passed away in Pembroke Pines, FL on January 13, 2020 surrounded by loving family at the age of 73. She is survived by her husband of 55 years Kent Richards, her daughter Kimberly, her son Scott and their spouses Jennifer Richards and Scott Jordan, grandsons Dylan Jordan, Ryan Jordan, Thomas Richards and Tyler Richards, grand-dogs Lily and Aspen, brothers David Allen and Edgar Allen III, her sister Sue Loranger and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Stella and Edgar Allen Jr.
Carol was born on February 11th 1946 in Berea, Oh. She graduated from Chicopee High School and married Kent on February 6th 1965 in Willimansett, MA. They moved to Hialeah, FL in 1966 where they spent more than 50 years building many wonderful friendships there. She worked at the Red Cross, and as a travel agent at World Mission Tours but had found her greatest joy spending time with family and friends. One of her greatest strengths was her creativity for which many people were envious. She took a very active role in her grandchildren’s lives and came up with the very best ideas for their parties! She had a love for animals, her favorite of all were elephants. She was a beautiful example of a wife, mother, grandmother and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
