Carol Sadowski, 94, of Hollywood Florida, passed away on January 28, 2024. A Visitation will be held from 3:00pm-7:00pm on Friday February 2, 2024 at Fred Hunter Hollywood Funeral Home 6301 Taft St, Hollywood, FL. The funeral service will be held at 10:00am on February 3, 2024 at Fred Hunter Hollywood Funeral Home. Interment will follow the funeral service at Hollywood Memorial Gardens North Cemetery 3001 North 72nd Avenue Hollywood, FL. Carol was born in Chicago on March 20, 1929. She graduated from Wright College in Chicago. Carol was married to her lifelong love Edmund Sadowski on July 9, 1949; they were married for 57 years before Edmund’s passing. Carol worked as a popular artist for over 60 years. Carol traveled the world with her husband and business partner Edmund, where he would take photos of different homes that Carol would then paint. She enjoyed following baseball and spending time with her family. Carol is survived by her daughters Lynn Mahoney, Christie Cortez and grandchildren Reynard Cortez, Christie Sadowski and Douglas Mahoney.
