Cathy Cammisa

Cathy Cammisa, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on June 11, 2026, at the age of 87.

Born on February 12, 1939, Cathy was a proud graduate of Miami High School. She will be remembered most for the love, warmth, and devotion she gave to her family throughout her life. Cathy was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose home and heart were always open to those she loved.

Cathy had a special gift for cooking and brought joy to family gatherings through the meals she lovingly prepared. She was also a talented artist, expressing her creativity through her artwork and sharing her gifts with those around her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joe, and her grandson, Michael, her youngest sister Susie and eldest sister Jean and husband Ed.

Cathy leaves behind to cherish her memory her brother, Johnny; her sister, Marina; her sons, Tony and his wife, Judy, and Michael; and her daughter, Denise. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Talia and her husband, Angel, Joey, Kaity and her husband, John, and Cameron; as well as her seven great-grandchildren, Mila, Anthony, Demi, Lena, Austin, Alaska, and John Michael.

Cathy’s loving spirit, kindness, creativity, and devotion to her family will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved
