

Chalee Vacharakiat, 79, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 2nd, 2024 surrounded by family. He was born on October 13th, 1944 in Phang Nga, Thailand to his father George Walker and mother Wattana Singhara.
He married Sakorn Vacharakiat on April 14th, 1973 in Fort Worth, Texas. Chalee and Sakorn celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 2023.
Chalee graduated from Tarrant County Junior College in 1979 earning his associates degree in Electronic Technology and Digital Electronics. He went on to work as an Electrical Technician for Motorola for 24 years, where he was chosen to work on many top-secret projects, as well as, earning many awards along the way.
Chalee was always so giving and known for his kind heart. He loved to be surrounded by family and friends and knew how to make each person who knew him feel special. He loved watching football, especially when his favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys played. Chalee was very handy and always enjoyed tackling home projects. He had an extreme love and passion for plants and gardening and was very generous to offer many of his masterpieces to others.
Chalee was a loving husband, brother, uncle, and most importantly, a father of three daughters and grandfather of three grandchildren.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Sakorn; his three children, Malissa (Jamie), Melinda (Kris), and Angela (Glenn); grandchildren, Mia, Grayson, and Caden; siblings, Pinit, Monvilas, Sophie, Ken, Sasithorn, and Marayart. He is also survived by his nephew Gawin.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at 12:30 pm on Saturday, February 24th, 2024 at Fred Hunter’s Funeral Home in Davie, FL.
The family of Chalee wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the Memorial Pembroke Hospital staff, Priya Ahya, AGACNP- BC, and Dr. Jose L. Gonzalez Martinez for their dedication, loving care, and support.
