Chantal E. Jones was born in Petion-Ville, Haiti to the proud parents of Esther Aristilde and Milo Elicier on February 10, 1963. She was the third of four beautiful children, Gilbert Joseph, Wilner Elisier, Chantal and Micaelle Elicier.
In 1977, Esther, who had already immigrated to the United States had Chantal and Wilner brought over to New York to start a new and promising life.
Chantal lived and grew up in Queens and Manhattan where she attended and graduated from Ben Franklin High School in 1981. She immediately entered the work force so she could help support her mother and make a life for herself. In 1982, Chantal was blessed with her first child Richard Elicier, in which she continued to work hard to give him the life she always dreamed of. In 1987, she met her future husband, Alan Jones, whom she married 10 years later and blessed her with her second child in 1998, Brittany Jones.
Chantal, Alan, Richard, and Brittany lived in Cambria Heights, Queens NY and then moved to a gorgeous home on Long Island that Chantal found online. She lived and worked on Long Island for 11 years until she finally achieved her ultimate dream in 2019 of relocating to Central Florida to live the "Florida Lifestyle" she had always wanted and to be closer to her family.
On February 11, 2020, Chantal transitioned to live in the house of the Lord.
Chantal is survived by her mother Esther Aristilde; her husband Alan Jones; siblings Gilbert, Wilner and Micaelle, step sister Jackie; children Richard & Brittany; grandchildren Ashton & Dominick; nieces & nephews Christina, Monica, Julian, Joshua, Jeremiah, Gerline, Gerry, Aaliyah, Mason, and Madison; cousins Dina, Nadege and Edwin and a host of extended family & friends.
Chantal was deeply cherished and will be missed greatly.
