Mrs. Charlotte Ann McCulty

Charlotte was born in Fenwick, W. VA on October 6, 1939. She graduated from Firestone High School.

Charlotte was married to Garland Ray McCulty on August 2, 1957; they were married for 41 years.

Charlotte worked as a Food Service Cafeteria Manager for Dade County School System for 35 years. She enjoyed playing bingo, playing card games on her iPad, attending church and spending time with her family and friends. She was actively involved in Crossway Church when she lived in Florida as well as Enon Baptist Church when she moved to North

Carolina.

Charlotte is survived by her daughter Becky (Tom) Woods, daughter Gerri (Laszlo) Nagy; grandchildren Jennifer (Brent) Beasley, Christopher Holley, Braden (Terrieha) Romer, Samantha Nagy and Brian Nagy; great grandchildren London Beasley, Skylar Beasley, Breck Romer & Braleigh Romer; sister Mary Cumberledge; and several nieces and nephews and other family & friends.

Charlotte is preceded in death by her parents Wilburn & Nellie Beaver, husband Garland Ray McCulty, grandson Shawn Gregory McCulty, sister Lucille McCulty and brothers Melvin Beaver, Kenneth Bever, Jason Beaver, Dale Beaver and Freeman Bever.

The family of Charlotte McCulty wishes to thank Mountain Valley Hospice in Yadkinville, NC for the care of their mother in the last few weeks of her life.

The funeral service will be held at 11 am on June 27th, 2026 at Fred Hunter Funeral Home in Hollywood, Florida. Dr. John Elswick of Crossway Church will be officiating.

Visitation will be held at 10am on June 27th, 2026 at Fred Hunter Funeral Home in Hollywood, Florida. Burial will follow the funeral at Fred Hunter Memorial Garden. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Fred Hunter Funeral Home.
