Sincere condolences to the entire Brady family. I just learned of Katie's and your dear Mother's passing today. They were both wonderful, kind and caring people; and I was most proud in calling them friends. It was always the little things; the little phrases Grandma Chris said, the little things she did, that will stick with me forever. I can still hear her say "Jiminy Crickets!" , clear as day, when something caught her off guard. Or her famous beginnings to stories, "Lord and mercy on him/her". I'll never forget her yellow sweater with the butterflies on the collar, which to me was always the signaling outfit for a good day ahead with Grandma. Her devotion to family and faith will remain with all of us forever. Never concerned with herself, always making sure everyone around her was doing well, Grandma was the "hostess with the mostest" and she loved every second of seeing all of us smile and laugh, because she knew she was facilitating it with her presence alone. Even in her last few years, you could see in those crystal blue eyes that she loved having the family together, you could just feel it in the energy of the room. You can always tell when Irish eyes are smiling. She smiled through the hardest of times, which, taught me a lot about strength. Physically and mentally, she was strong as it gets, especially when it came to her grip on the racquetballs, Uncle Bubba couldn't even get those things out of her "chicken grip". It isn't about how hard life gets, rather about how tough you are, and Grandma Chris was an absolute fighter. She did not fight the fight alone, however. Her relationship with the Holy Family was a solid one, which is one of the many reasons I know for a fact that Grandma Chris is dancing in heaven with Grandpa Jack and Aunt Katie, while constantly watching over the clan down on Earth, hopefully putting in a good word for us. God put her on this Earth for us to learn from, she made sure all the grandchildren were squared away with their very own Holy Bibles, meals, and making sure to thank God for each day, meal, and all the blessings in between most of which I would not have noticed without her guidance. Everyone wanted to be on her team, especially her family. They fought the fight with her the whole way, everyone depending on each other, and this how it will remain. I think she left this world not only because she was ready, but because she knew that we learned from her how to live, love, and be a family, and she had faith that we could figure the rest out on our own. Grandma keeps her ducks in a row, and for that I cannot thank her enough. I love you Grandma Chris, Lord and Mercy on you, forever.

There were so many great memories related to Mrs. Brady for me I couldn't list all of them. From the days at the Knights of Columbus to Thanksgiving's at TY park it was always a joy to be around Mrs. Brady!Rest in Peace Mrs. Brady

Thank-you for everything but mostly for leading by example. You touched everyone's heart that you met and lucky for everyone you never met a stranger. Your spirit and grace will live on forever. Until we meet again Good Night ,God Bless you and I love you ! Chrisie and Mike

Mrs. Brady has always held a special place in the heart of the Flynn family. She was kind and generous and had a great sense of humor! We all loved to listen to her stories and jokes! We learned a lot from her. We love you Mrs. Brady! Say hi to all of our friends in heaven.
