Christina was born on January 9, 1972 in New York to Wilma Ferrer and Nelson Martinez. She was a strong woman, loving wife dedicated mother, wonderful daughter and beloved sister, who made friends wherever she went and always had a welcoming smile. She received her Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University and a Master's in Industrial Engineering and an Executive MBA from University of Miami. Christina was happy to work with Carrier for almost twenty years.
Christina is survived by her beloved family Abby Serrano, Axel Serrano, Wilma Ferrer, Lisa Martinez, Thomas Martinez, Nelson Martinez and countless friends and colleagues from work and church.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 from 5:30 to 9:00 at Fred Hunter Hollywood Funeral Home 6301 Taft Street Hollywood, Florida 33024, (954) 989-1550. Mass will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2017 in the Little Chapel of St. Mark's Catholic Church, 5601 S Flamingo Rd, Southwest Ranches, FL 33330, at 10:00 am. Burial will be after Mass at Fred Hunter Hollywood Memorial Gardens North 3001 N. 72nd Street, Hollywood, FL 33024, (954) 989-1550.
