Christine (Raymond) McCarty, 99, of Wilton Manor, FL, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2017 at Holy Cross Catholic Hospice. She was born to Robert and Josephine Raymond in Worcester, Mass on December 25, 1917.
She is survived by her loving son, Lawrence Kevin McCarty and his wife, Mary (Ballard) of Delray Beach, FL. She was predeceased by her husband, Maj. Lawrence McCarty on July 9, 1980. She is also survived by niece Christine and nephew Paul of Jensen Beach, Fl and Paul, Thomas and Grace Raymond of Massachusetts.
Christine traveled the world following her husbands military assignments and volunteering for the Red Cross, especially visiting wounded servicemen during the Vietnam conflict.
