Conroy was born in St. Andrew, Jamaica on August 6, 1973, son of Brinton and Beryl (Smith) Davis. He and his family came to the United States in 1979 settling in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Conroy graduated from Bassick High School and in 1991 was named male athlete of the year by the Bridgeport Post. He was the first runner in the school's history to win the gold medal in the CIAC open by winning the 110 meter high hurdles in a relatively slow time of 14.68 and was a nationally ranked hurdler.
He attended Connecticut State University in Hartford, Connecticut and at the time of his death was a computer programmer.
Survived by his beloved parents, Brinton and Beryl Davis, loving daughter, Mikalya Davis, brother Jeffrie Davis and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation on Saturday, May 11th from Twelve Noon ~ 1:00 P.M. at Fred Hunters Hollywood Garden Home, 6301 Taft Street Hollywood followed by a funeral service 1:00 O'clock. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial will follow at Hollywood Memorial Gardens Cemetery East.
