

Daniel Clemons Hall, Jr. was born in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on September 14, 1928 to proud parents Daniel C. Hall, Sr. and Mabel Lewis Hall. He was big brother to sisters Rosemary Hall Mickel and Sally Hall St. Marie, and brother Edward Jackson Hall. He was raised to be a blacksmith like his father and grandfather before him. He graduated from Pompano High School in 1948. He was drafted in the US Army as an Army Tank Commander. Dan took over the metal works business which began in 1935 by his father and the business continues under ownership by his son Pete.
Dan was active in the Civitan Club, the Historical Society of Pompano Beach, and the Pompano Beach Aero Club, serving as Secretary.
Dan passed away on Saturday, July 13th after a brief illness. He is survived by his beloved wife, Billie Jones Hall, daughter Mary Beth Hall son Peter Daniel Hall and daughter Anne Marie Gaetani. He was preceded in death by wife Sue Preuss Hall, son Mark Hall, and granddaughter Danielle Hall. Mourning his passing are daughter-in-law Linda Hall, grandddaughter Christie Hall, son-in-law John and grandchildren Mark and Claire Gaetani, grandson Kyle Hall and granddaughter Katie Oliver. In addition, Dan leaves children-in-law Woody and Charlotte Hendrix, Ralph and Denise Hendrix, Kathy and Wes Baker and a family of loved ones.

A viewing is scheduled from 6-8 pm on Tuesday, July 16th at Fred Hunter's Funeral Home, 4650 N. Federal Hwy, Lighthouse Point, FL 33064. Phone 954-519-1550. The funeral service is scheduled for Wednesday, July 17th at 12:30 pm at the First Baptist Church of Pompano Beach.
