The family will receive friends for a memorial gathering on January 15, 2022 from 12:00pm-2:00pm at the Ken Loomis Community Center, Fred Hunter’s Funeral Home, 240 S. University Drive, Davie FL.
Dario was born in Santa Maria del Rosario Habana, Cuba on October 27th, 1945. He graduated from Santa Maria Del Rosario in 1961 (Habana, Cuba) and completed his GED from Cooper City Community School in Florida in 2001.
Dario was married to Mary Harper for 34 years before they divorced in 2002.
Dario worked as a Police Officer for Conrail/CSX Railroad for 26 years. He continued to work security in Buffalo, NY and Fort Lauderdale, FL for an additional 10 years in his retirement years. He enjoyed spending time with family and his grandchildren, reading, watching movies and vacationing.
Dario is survived by (son) Miguel Rodriguez (Tampa, FL), (son) Darren, (daughter-in-law) Theresa, (grandchildren) Dillon and Melina Rodriguez (Valparaiso, IN), (nephew) Americo Nocete Jr. and other family and friends.
Dario is preceded in death by (father) Dario Rodriguez Sr., (mother) Hilda (Garcia), (sister) Carmen (Ortiz), (Aunt) Bertha Nocete and (fiancée) Cathy Kolb
