David K. Cairns, 90, of Davie, Florida passed away January 12, 2017. He was born February 28, 1926, in Miami, the son of Clarence and Hettie (King) Cairns. David served in the US Navy during World War II and lived most of his life in South Florida.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Georgia; daughter, Jeannette Fronda (Paul); son, David K. Cairns, Jr. (Laura); grandchildren, Christina Civita (David), Alissa Calise (Mike), Brandon Fronda (Isis), Nicole Cairns and Ethan Cairns; and great-grandchildren, Julia, Yulissa and Bryanne.
The family would like to acknowledge and thank family member Hollywood Firefighter David Civita for his medical expertise and presence during this time. His understanding of what David was going through helped the family through this difficult time.
