David William Walters of Wilton Manors, formerly of Hollywood, passed away on March 13, 2013 at his residence. He was born in Evanston, IL on April 4, 1962 to the parents of Harold Lawrence and Lillian Dolores (Miller) Walters. He graduated from South Broward High School, he then went on to graduate with honors in flute performance from Florida Atlantic University, and from there he received a Masters Degree at the University of Miami in music marketing. For the past several years he performed as flute soloist at The Sunshine Cathedral (MCC). David worked with his brother, Fred, managing the family estate. David loved music, his family and his friends, but above all he loved God. He is survived by his brother Frederick Lee Walters of Ft. Lauderdale. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Lawrence Harold and Frank Lynn Walters. In lieu of flowers, etc, it is requested that donations be sent to The Sunshine Cathedral (MCC) at 1480 SW 9th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL.
