David Eddy Weldy of Hollywood, FL passed away peacefully in his home early Tuesday morning on December 22, 2015 with his wife, Lily by his side. He was born February 10, 1950 in Spartanburg, SC to Earl Jeter Weldy and Addie Almeda Strickland.
David is survived by his wife of forty years, Lily Weldy; children, David Jr., Michelle, Teresa, and Jeanette; grandchildren, James, Matthew, Daniel, Julia, Brandon, and Brooke; great grandchild, Rayna; siblings, Joseph Earl, Roger Dell, Bobby Gerald, Richard Donnie, Theresa, Tammy, Timmy, Terry, Dwight, and Eddie; raised in his home, his niece Lillian and nephew Dakota along with several loving nephews, nieces, cousins, and other relatives.
David was loved by his family and friends including his lifelong friend, Abel. His acts of kindness were done without expectation and he loved his family deeply.
