Dean P. Gudmundson, 55, of Weston, Florida, passed away on April 1, 2014. Dean grew up in Eden Prairie, Minnesota and attended Eden Prairie High School and later The University of Minnesota. Following university, Dean entered the film industry as a sound engineer and for the next 25 years gained the respect of his peers and was recognized as a true professional. He loved to hunt pheasant and would travel home to Minnesota to go hunting and ice fishing with his buddies. In South Florida, he loved to play ice hockey, enjoyed spending time in the Keys, fishing and time on the beach with his family. He loved the ocean.
Dean was a devoted and loving husband to his wife Deirdre and their children Dylan and Kyra and he is also survived by his sisters, Holly Cruse, Jennifer Gudmundson and Nicole Moore in Minnesota. Dean was preceded in death by his mother, Geraldine Eaton, his father, Donald P. Gudmundson and his step-father, Donald Eaton. He will be sadly missed by his extended family and friends but he will always be in our hearts and prayers.
