Delbert Clements passed away March 31, 2010, at the age of 99. Mr. Clements was a well respected jockey agent for over 50 years. He was an agent for a number of riders including Don MacBeth, Billy Phelps, Earlie Fires, Doug Dodson and John Adams among others.
Mr. Clements is survived by one niece; Shirley Ray and three nephews; Donald Clements, Ronald Clements and Bryon Lee Clements as well as grand nieces and nephews.
Vistiation will be held at Fred Hunter's Funeral Home, 2401 South University Drive, Davie, FL from 4:00pm-8:00pm on Monday, April 5th. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. David's Catholic Church, 3900 South University Drive, Davie, FL, at 10:00am on Tuesday, April 6th. Interment will be at Hollywood Memorial Gardens, 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood, FL.
