Demetria "Blanca" Victoria Nunez, 87, of North Miami Beach, Florida passed away March 3, 2013. Born December 22, 1925 in Lopez-Santiago, Dominican Republic, Demetria lived in New Jersey before moving to south Florida in 1988.
Survivors include her daughter, Ella Blair and husband, Timothy Raymond Blair of North Miami Beach; granddaughter, Jennifer Monique Battillo and husband, Anthony Andrew Battillo of Ocala, Florida; great-grandchildren, Amber Sky, Angel Alexander, Christopher James and Monique Victoria; sisters, Esperanza (Pepe), Lucia (Roma), Marcelina (Carmela), Ana (Chea), Mercedes and Irene; brothers, Simon (Papo) and Sylvester (Tono).
Demetria was preceded in death by her husband, Alejandro; sister, Nidia and brother, Enrique (Kike).
Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., with the funeral service at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 2013, at Fred Hunter's Hollywood Memorial Gardens Home, 6301 Taft Street in Hollywood.
